USC basketball team to play in Puerto Vallarta
The Press-Enterprise reports that the final 2007-08 basketball schedule will be released sometime this week. When it is, it should reflect that the date of the USC-Kansas game has been shifted back a day to December 2nd. (It was originally scheduled to be played the night of the USC-UCLA football game.) More interesting still is a planned Aug. 31-Sept. 3 excursion to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which will provide the inexperienced Trojans with a much needed extra 10-day practice period and a few exhibition games under their belts before regular practice officially begins in mid-October.
