Special introductory fares encourage customers to book their trips now

SALT LAKE CITY, June 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Delta Air Lines
(NYSE: DAL) is encouraging customers to take advantage of special low
introductory fares and book their vacations early to the fun-filled beach
destination of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
“Now our customers can have the best of both worlds during the winter
season — magnificent slopes where they can dig in their skis and sunny
beaches where they can dig in their toes,” said James Sarvis, Delta’s director
of Latin America and Caribbean. “The additional destination of beautiful
Puerto Vallarta supports our transformation strategy of providing more service
to more customers on the most popular international routes.” Puerto Vallarta
represents the third Mexican destination Delta serves from Salt Lake City.
Delta recently began new service from Salt Lake City to Cancun and Los Cabos,
Mexico.

To celebrate the new Puerto Vallarta service that begins November 1, Delta
is offering customers special low introductory sale fares. Customers need to
act fast as tickets must be purchased on or before July 6, 2005, for travel

Restrictions: Tickets are non-transferable. Tickets cost $5 more if
purchased from Delta over the telephone or $10 more if purchased at an airport
or city ticket office, and these amounts are nonrefundable. Travel agents may
impose an additional service charge for ticketing. Seats are limited and fares
may not be available on all flights or in all markets. Tickets: Tickets must
be purchased on a round-trip basis on or before July 6, 2005. Ticketing must
be completed by midnight 3 days after the reservations are confirmed but no
later than July 6, 2005. Travel Period: Fares are valid for travel commencing
Nov. 1, 2005, through March 28, 2006. All travel must be completed by March
31, 2006. Blackout Dates: None. Fare Validity: Fares are valid in the Economy
(Coach) cabin on Delta/Delta Connection carrier flights and certain codeshare
partners only. Midweek fares are valid Monday through Thursday and Weekend

Fares are nonrefundable. Delta may permit you to apply a portion of the fare
value to future travel upon payment of applicable fees and fare difference,

Excise Tax which will be imposed on each flight segment in the passenger’s
ticketed itinerary. A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing.

on itinerary or September 11th Security Fee of up to USD10.00 per round-trip.
International fares, including fares for travel to/from San Juan, PR/U.S.
Virgin Islands, do not include U.S. International Air Transportation tax of up
to USD28.20 and U.S. and foreign user, inspection, security or other similarly
based charges, fees or taxes of up to USD250.00, depending on itinerary. These
taxes and fees are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the
time the ticket is purchased. Miscellaneous: Fares and rules are subject to

responsibility of the passenger to be in possession of all necessary
