This is a 1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom Phenthouse that sleeps 2 people.

While it certainly has all the comforts of home, Casa de los Delfines at Plaza Mar is NOT a home away from home – unless your home happens to be a fabulous penthouse overlooking one of the most beautiful bays in the world. It is the perfect honeymoon place or romantic getaway.  You can sunbathe naked on the bougainvillea decorated balcony, and only the soaring Frigate birds will be able to see you. Just remember to throw on a wrap before leaning over the balcony to watch the hustle and bustle of Playa Los Muertos, Vallarta's most popular beach, seven stories below.

Plaza Mar is perfectly positioned in the heart of Zona Romantica in Puerto Vallarta's picturesque Old Town. The lobby staff is on duty 24 hours a day; to help you, and sign your visitors in and out.
Your penthouse is located on the 7th floor, through a scrolled iron door and an intricately carved arched wooden doorway. When you walk through these doors you enter your own personal piece of paradise. There is a long corridor lined with original art, mostly big, vibrant, rich, almost tactile paintings. You are in Mexico, everything is more intense. Feel it.

Off the corridor is the master bedroom with an unreasonably luxurious, curtained, king size bed. The adjoining door leads to a bathroom with a tub that's more than big enough for two, and has unlimited hot water. The sunny living area opens out on to a balcony – and we aren't talking 'door opens out', we are talking 'WALL opens out' - no curtains, it would be criminal to block this view. You could so easily spend the rest of your vacation mesmerized by it. You can see the ENTIRE bay from here; all the yachts and birds and dolphins. If you are lucky you'll see whales breeching off shore, you are overlooking a bay so magical the humpbacks come here to have their babies.

If you want to invite friends over for dinner, they can sip tequila as an 18th century pirate ship sails by, while you whip up your specialty in the kitchen. It has everything you might need including microwave, blender, juicer, toaster oven, coffee maker, filtered water and enough crockery and glassware to feed the largest Mexican family.

If you would rather go out for dinner there are 900 restaurants to choose from. Or order in and curl up on one of the big comfy couches with a book, there is a nice little selection to choose from.
You can turn on television if you want to check the news and weather back home, and feel even more smug about escaping to paradise. Or you can rent Night of the Iguana, stick it in the DVD player, and watch it while you are just up the road from where it where it was filmed. If you want to use the CD player you'll probably have to close the balcony doors and turn it up to drown out the sound of the ocean waves beneath your balcony.

There is also a phone if you need to ring home and tell your friends about life in penthouse Casa de los Delfines. Imagine how you'll feel as you sip your preferred beverage and chat ever so casually while the whales are breeching and the pelicans are diving and the Mariachis are silhouetted against the setting sun.

Who are you kidding? You worked dang hard for this getaway, and you scored, it’s everything you hoped for and more, bask in it!
